Welcome
Welcome to the Consigli/Southbridge Middle and High School Construction Project web site. This site has been developed as an avenue to provide the local community with relevant information on the project. On a regular basis, updates will be posted to the web site which will detail the current status of the project and highlight significant activities and milestones through the completion of the building. Another key feature of the site will be to broadcast relevant announcements that the local community should be aware of. This would include such things as lane closures, water service interruptions and public meetings.
The proposed building is located on a Town owned parcel of land off of Torrey Road. The development of the site will include the new school along with an access road, parking and athletic fields. The school will be a multi-story building consisting of two wings divided by an auditorium and media center. The school will include a cafeteria, gym and weight room, arts and technology space as well as science labs. The design includes 3 multi-purpose fields for soccer, field hockey and lacrosse as well as a softball and baseball field. There are also four tennis courts proposed for the site.
The project will include installation of various utilities along Guelphwood and Torrey Road. Repaving a portion of Torrey Road and the extension of utilities to the town’s waste water treatment plant will also be a significant portion of the project.
